Shasta ADOPTED!

We have a 6-8 month old, male, altered last week. "Shasta" is unique in coloring…pure, snow white for the majority of his body; dark orange stripes and rings on his blondish colored tail, and then patches of dark orange/light orange checkers and stripes. He is very strong, nice body, very muscular. He is a little shy, but friendly, he actually will start crying if he does not know where everyone is or can’t find anyone. He does not hiss, bite, or scratch, unless provoked. He likes to be in the same room as everyone else, but he is not always into anyone touching him. I’ve been working with him to socialize him. He is doing pretty good. I can pick him up and hold him/pet him…he’s not thrilled, but will stay with me for 15-30 minutes. Yesterday he allowed me to pet him where he was without me having to make a big ordeal out of it. He was bolting every time anyone came even close to him, but now he stays and just watches to see what’s going to happen. He plays with the other cats and has adjusted to them perfectly. I think in a week or so, he’ll be able to allow people to pet him without having to “corner” him or such other things. He is a good looking guy, with a nice personality. We would like to see him get adopted too-he deserves a nice family. He should be ready for adoption by the end of November. If you know of anyone, send them our way!

Triplets 1!

The calico, who everyone wants to call "Burrito" and I don't want to call her that-she's a girl after all, is the easiest of them all. We are actually calling her Lillie. She never hisses, scratches, or bites. She is happy to be picked up, fed, and played with all the time. She has been playing with the balls and fake mice, on her own for several days now. She purrs up a storm whenever you pet her or hold her. Although she seems pretty independent, she really likes to be with her sister. I would say she could be adopted as soon as she gets fixed-she could be ready now.The little blonde girl, I call her "Cinnamon" is doing pretty well. The only time she tries to hiss is when her brother is hissing-it is pretty funny! She lets you hold her and pet her for a little while, then wants to get down. She was the first to go exploring on her own. She is still a little afraid and will try to run or hide if you try to pick her up. She is not eating as much as the other two, but her belly looks full after eating, so I think she is OK. She purrs sometimes too. The little boy, we call him "Root Beer" is doing OK too. He allows me to pick him up 50% of the time with no hissing or anything, which is better than before. Once he is picked up he is fine, cute as can be, cuddles, and sleeps in my arms. He doesn't really like anyone else but me, however I have been trying to give him to others to feed and so forth. He is such the little protector! We have been giving them a bottle in the morning and in the evening, since they still seem to crave the nursing and it helps with bonding. It is so funny how they shake after they finish their bottle!

Triplets 2!

The babies have had two rounds of three different meds, and deworming twice, now it seems like almost everything is almost gone. Ears not 100%, two eyes still weepy, no worms though and the chin acne is gone.

Triplets #!

I would so keep Root Beer-he is the bomb! He is so cool. He plays, and plays hard, but he also wants to cuddle and be held. Last night we did not bring them in our room-needed to give attention to the others. In the middle of the night he came in, kept biting me and hitting me until I woke up. He wanted to be pet and held. Then he went to sleep. He’ll even come up to me and cry when he wants attention-so cute! But if I kept all the little darlings we’ve rescued I would have 36! The other two are as cute as can be too. Lillie is just a little lover and wants to be held-total lap cat all the way. Be perfect for an elderly citizen who wants a loving, doting one. She’ll sleep on you for hours if you let her. Cinnamon is a combination of the two, not quite one or the other but does a little of both. All purr like crazy too!

Triplets have been ADOPTED!

The Triplets, Lillie, Cinnamon, & Root Beer, have been ADOPTED!!-go to the Maui Feline Foundation link to read all about these little darlings. Check out their pictures in the photo gallery!

Drain Pipe Kitten up for ADOPTION!

The 2-week old kitten I found in the drain pipe at school will be up for adoption soon. He is a fun-loving little guy, with quite the personality. He is so lovable, that no one will be able to turn him away. Looking for a committed family to love him as one of their own.
